Local Business Involvement

Thank you for supporting the 10thousandgirl Campaign. With your support, the campaign is able to reach more young women and make a greater difference. 10thousandgirl is a unique and valuable opportunity for local financial service professionals to have a direct and positive impact in your community, whilst growing your business and contributing to the health of the global economy too. A not-for-profit with a difference, we believe in sustainable giving and aim to create partnerships that benefit the partners as well as the community. With this model and outlook, we aim to facilitate relationships within each community that have life-long impact.

Below is an outline of how you can be involved and how everyone benefits.

Does this sound like you?

As a local sponsor of the 10thousandgirl campaign you will:

  • Be a local business/financial services professional and/or local community person
  • Understand the importance and impact of considering the future and sound financial literacy, with a specific emphasis and interest in supporting youth and women
  • Be interested in local/global economic wellbeing with a basic understanding of microfinance

Why become a local sponsor?

  • Your contribution to the 10thousandgirl Campaign helps to “bring finance to life” for women and communities here and abroad, creating a ripple effect of responsible financial management throughout the world
  • You and your business will have the opportunity to be involved in direct local and online engagement activities with groups of young women who are ready-to-invest and take action, you’ll have a presence in joint media campaigns and be able to use the 10thousandgirl logo to reiterate your contribution to a worthwhile community-focused program

Be a part of the 10thousandgirl Campaign and create widespread social benefits along with direct value for you.

Hear from Sunshine, a local business supporting the campaign in Sydney:

‘The 10thousandgirl campaign aligns with Omniwealth’s values of people first, passion, growth and intelligence. The workshops provide young women with the much needed mindset and skills needed to thrive both financially and in all areas of their lives. The education and messages delivered in these workshops overlaps with our education on wealth creation and the girls that have joined Omniwealth as clients come onboard very well prepared for taking control of their finances. Being involved in 10,000 girl campaign has helped us spread our message of financial independence being a reality to many young and aspiring women, something which I am particularly passionate about.’ – Sunshine Estivo, Omniwealth

Hear from Scott, a local business supporter of the campaign in Canberra:

‘At Money Mechanics we are proud to have been associated with the campaign and I would happily recommend or suggest other businesses engage in the program anyway they can.  As a business we have found this a benefit from a community engagement and promotion perspective to help build our brand awareness and spread the word about our service offering as well as be able to connect via social media channels to new potential clients. On a personal note it has also been a great way to give something back which is linked to the values of our business being financial literacy and a focus on a personal values based approach to education and empowerment and achieving financial well being! …Just checking out the new website stats. #1 referred from Google #2 from Facebook and #3 The 10thousandgirl Campaign (thanks to Zoe and the team!).’ – Scott Malcolm, Money Mechanics
